The Vision

Hi! I’m Darlene. Welcome to Fabulously Frivolous, an Eclectic Oddities Resale Shop. Where we travel to estate sales or online auctions to find unique treasures and reoffer them for you to discover.

How it all started: Once upon the past, near the end of her life, my grandmother and I would spend Saturdays at estate sales and thrift stores in our lovely hometown of Lawton, Oklahoma. We’d search and conquer during the morning, followed by a relaxing lunch at our favorite truck stop diner, Leo’s. During the afternoon when we arrived home, we’d sort through our newly found treasures. Oohing and aahing over the wonderful things we’d discoverd during our shopping sprees. Making the memories last forever.

With Fabulously Frivolous, I hope to continue that tradition. This is where you’ll find it. The products listed here are revived from estate sales, estate sale auctions and the occasional thrift store. I try to find that one thing that is unique and beautiful. Something that might even bring you a breathless pause as you hold it up to the light to admire.

So my wish for you is that you’ll find some trinkets you love for yourself or for that one person it would be perfect for. Something maybe you don’t need, maybe others think it could be “frivolous”, but it brings you a spark of joy. Something you can cherish for many years to come. Something that helps to begin your own long-lasting memories to be shared or tucked away just for you.
